Test Subjects:
This test was conducted at a hub on the East Coast. Eight new trucks were divided into two groups:

1. Four were in the "Control" group
2. Four were in the "Fluid Rx" group

The "Fluid Rx" group was equipped with Magna-Guard Oil Filter Magnets and Fuel Rx Harmonic Balancer Chips.

The Pro One Extreme Lubricants were not included in this study.

Base Line:
Unlike the new Peterbilt with CAT C15 (Rob Jones) test that began with established mpg base line, these new trucks did not have a pre-established mpg base line.

In addition, more than one driver operated each truck. Each truck was operated over varying distances (short and/or long hauls) with varying loads.

Please note that although all vehicles were identical new trucks, on september 20 2007 we documented 8 different mpg data points ranging from 3.905 mpg to 5.270 mpg, a variation of 25.9%.

Results after 90-days via Qualcomm Sensor TRACKS Report: 3.96% Increase

This study represents a worse case scenario in documenting actual improvements in mpg in that we begin without an established mpg base line, and the test vehicles are operated over a wide range of variables including different drivers.
